About this strategy
Trades Kalshi's weekly initial unemployment-claims ladder, buying the legs priced below the published economist consensus by a margin that clears the trading fee. Live-only.
How it works
- Agent triggers
Starts daily at 12:15 PM, transitioning into active trading as Kalshi's market opens. This run checks for price discrepancies before the weekly unemployment-claims data is released.
- Computes its signals
It reads the economist consensus on unemployment claims and the corresponding market prices. It only acts if the market price is below the fair value by a margin that covers trading costs.
- Sets the target portfolio
The target portfolio consists of positions in the weekly claims ladder, with a focus on contracts priced below fair value. Each trade caps how much is committed to any single release.
- Executes orders
Your account trades toward the target mix, selling before buying, while respecting the platform's risk rails: stop-loss and daily loss limits you control.
