Kosher S&P 500
Performance since launch
Backtest volatility
About this strategy
The forty largest S&P 500 companies at equal weight, minus anything that sells what Jewish dietary law forbids: no pork or shellfish producers and no restaurant chains built on a cheeseburger, pepperoni or bacon. Only McDonald's ranked high enough to be cut. Our own published screen, rebalanced weekly.
How it works
- Agent triggers
A run starts every Monday at 10:25 AM, rebalancing the portfolio weekly. Weekly schedule ensures timely updates.
- Computes its signals
The agent screens companies based on dietary laws, removing those that sell prohibited items. It maintains focus on the forty largest S&P 500 companies.
- Sets the target portfolio
The portfolio is an equal-weight mix of the qualifying forty companies, refreshing as necessary while keeping positions adjusted to the same size.
- Executes orders
Your account trades toward the target, sells before buys, inside the platform's risk rails: stop-loss and daily loss limits you control.
