About this strategy

Buys pharma names on FDA approval events, holding each for 30 days across up to 6 concurrent positions.

How it works

  1. Agent triggers

Triggered by new FDA approval events in the pharma sector or at a scheduled time daily between 9:35 AM and 4:00 PM. FDA approvals are the main focus.

  2. Computes its signals

It reads FDA approval announcements and filters for relevant pharma stocks, holding each for 30 days. The portfolio caps at 6 concurrent positions.

  3. Sets the target portfolio

Each stock qualifies for the target portfolio as an equal-weight position. After 30 days, older positions roll off to make room for new ones.

  4. Executes orders

Your account trades toward this target, selling positions before buying new ones, while staying within risk rails like stop-loss and daily loss limits you set.
