About this strategy
Holds the S&P 500 ETF all month and switches to a 3x leveraged S&P 500 fund only across the turn of the month, the last four sessions of one month and the first three of the next, where payroll and retirement money has historically hit the market.
How it works
- Agent triggers
Triggered daily at 15:55 ET, checking for the next trading session's date. Last four sessions of the month and first three of the next signal a switch.
- Computes its signals
It reads the calendar to see if the next session falls in the turn-of-the-month window. The agent decides to allocate 100 percent to a 3x leveraged S&P 500 fund during that period, otherwise reverting to the S&P 500 ETF.
- Sets the target portfolio
Across the turn of the month, it switches to a 3x leveraged S&P 500 fund, holding it for seven sessions. Outside that window, the target is solely the S&P 500 ETF.
- Executes orders
Your account trades toward the target, selling the leveraged fund before buying the ETF, within the platform's risk rails: stop-loss and daily loss limits you control.
