About this strategy
Holds an equal-weighted basket of twenty pharma and biotech names and cuts a name's weight on FDA recall severity.
How it works
- Agent triggers
The run starts daily at 09:40, checking for recourse during market hours. It reacts to FDA recall data from certain firms like Pfizer and Merck.
- Computes its signals
It evaluates recalls based on FDA classifications. A Class I recall results in cutting weight to zero, while a Class II recall halves the weight on that name.
- Sets the target portfolio
The output is a full target basket of up to twenty equal-weighted names. Any weight loss from recalls is redistributed to remaining names to keep the portfolio fully invested.
- Executes orders
Your account executes trades towards this target, selling before buying, within the platform's risk parameters: you set stop-loss and daily loss limits.
